1. What We Collect
We collect your first name and email address when you sign up or complete the plan questionnaire. We also collect your answers to the AI intake questionnaire including relationship to the deceased, state, assets, benefits, and situational details. We automatically collect basic usage data via web analytics. We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, passwords, or sensitive government identification.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to generate your personalized after-loss plan, send you your plan and follow-up guidance via email, communicate about your account or subscription, and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal information to third parties and do not use your information for advertising.
3. Who We Share Information With
We work with Mailchimp for email delivery, Stripe for payment processing, Anthropic Claude API for AI plan generation, and Framer for website hosting. Your questionnaire answers are transmitted to Anthropic’s API to generate your plan and are subject to Anthropic’s data usage policies. We use Memberstack for account authentication and membership management, and Supabase for secure storage of your plan data if you are a Guided member. Both are subject to their own data processing and security practices.
4. Email Communications
By submitting your email you agree to receive your personalized plan and occasional guidance and updates. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
5. Data Retention
For free plan users, questionnaire responses are used to generate your plan and are not retained beyond the session. For Guided members, your questionnaire responses and generated plan are stored securely so you can access them again on your dashboard, for as long as your account remains active. You may request deletion of your stored plan and data at any time by emailing ayla@graceafter.com.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to unsubscribe from email communications at any time. Contact ayla@graceafter.com to exercise these rights.
7. Children’s Privacy
Graceafter is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
8. Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify subscribers of material changes via email. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
